The research group of Zhu Hongli from Northeastern University blended short bagasse fibers with long bamboo fibers, and the two fibers were physically intertwined to form a highly intertwined network structure. Then, disposable tableware was prepared by cold pressing and hot pressing drying. It can completely replace plastic and traditional paper tableware.
